TV isn’t really mobile, despite what London Lite says

TV is really mobile now? Is it?

This isn’t just a case of cheeky headline writing - it’s actually wrong.

Two things:

1) Unless you live in London, the Nokia N96 isn’t readily available yet.

2) You could probably get away with that, were it not for the fact that even if you could get hold of one, there are no broadcasts to tune into. And won’t be for some time yet.

Of course, ‘TV really will be mobile soon once the handset is generally available and the signal is switched on (which could happen anytime - there’s no firm date yet)’ doesn’t make for as snappy a headline.

The N96 also doesn’t have a built in Freeview receiver (as the article stated).

Bad London Lite. No dinner for you.
